1. What *Era* Or *Period* Of Clothing Do You Feel Best Suits Your Looks And Personality? Why?

I would certainly say that period clothes in general suit me! Even when I am dressed in what I would consider ordinary clothes, Ive had people ask if I was supposed to be dressed *mediaeval*...I suppose it is the penchant I have for long flowing skirts :o). Specifically, I adore ancient/arthurian/pre~aphaelite style garments, Mediaeval, Renaissance {Tudor, Elizabethan, Wenchly goodness :o)}, Victorian era gowns and corset styles, Prairie and Atebellum South, Edwardian {a la Kate Winslet from *Titanic*}, early 1900 {20s, 30s, 40s, 50s}, many many more! All with a touch of creativity and fantasy....shimmer and faery influences abound!!

2. Have You Ever {Or Would You Ever} Worn Fantasy Or Historical Garb As Casual *Every Day* Clothing? Why Or Why Not?

Oh, indeed! It is ever so much fun. I have often been told that I have too much fun with my clothes and playing dress~up...as though such a thing were possible!! Also, as I said, I often get comments even when I wear what I would consider more *common* :o)

3. How Would You Describe Your Personal Style?

See historical eras.....fantasy and faery and gothy touches. I love to make period clothes and just about everything my own. I have a lot of really odd things I create with scarves and things from the craft shop. I have a penchant for long and flowing skirts/dresses, peasant~style tops, poet shirts, batik/Indian cotton, bohemian style, and extremely feminine girly things, which I add to everything! Also, I adore things in velvets, laces, brocade, tapestry, linen, silk, satin....etc...:o)

4. What Is Your Favourite Article Of Clothing? Why?

That would be my long, black almost circle~skirt a friend brought me from Chile. I love it because it is so versatile and useful...it get quite a lot of wear from me! A close second are some wonderful skirts I got from a little bohemian import shop in Burlington, Vermont, and my pink indian cotton summer dress with flower embroidery about the top.

5. What Is Your Favourite *Look* To Wear? Why?

Already stated......see above ;o). But it is so varied, so whatever suits my mood and whimsy at precisely that moment :o)

6 What Impression Would Most People Get Of You Based On Your Clothing/Style Preference?

That I am an interesting, eclectic, creative, odd, artsy, bohemian, historically~inspired, faery~like creature of joy and beauty.....and they would be precisely right! Or, to those less perceptive, just a weirdo ;o)

7. What Is Your Favourite Material For Clothing?

Lace, linen, silk, satin, brocade, calico, tapestry, Indian cotton, batik prints....along those lines :o)

8. What Colours Do You Feel Best Suit Your Looks?

Probably soft pastels like coral, peaches, rose, cream, and the like. Also, light blues, purples, green, etc. I also love black and white, and rich jewel~tones of maroon, purple, etc......

10. How Would Most People Classify Or Label You Based On Your Clothing Style/Preference? {Goth, Conservative, Trendy Etc.}

Im not sure there is a label....feminine~bohemian~faery~medieval~classic~fantasy :o)

11. Have You Ever {Or Would You Ever} Colour Your Hair An Un~Usual Or Un~Natural Shade? {Pink, Blue, Green, Purple Etc.}

I have had my hair interesting shades {especially vibrant and dark reds} in th past, but colourings {even temporary} tend to anger my hair....and I like to avoid angering my hair ;o)

12. Do You Like Or Use: Tattoos, Henna, Body Jewels, Body Glitter Etc.?

I love them! I have many tattoos, which I will post pictures of eventually {wench in black runes across my back between my shoulder~blades, a large circle of black celtic knotwork below it centered, a unicorn on my right back shoulder in peach and lavendr, and a black triskelene on my right calf. Probably more in the future, when I have excess money :o). I used to do this really neat thing drawn with vines on my hands...I'll have to try it again! I usually use shimmer, as opposed to glitter..but I love it all!

13. Does The Way You Like To Dress Match The Way You Look Or Is Your Preferred Look Much Opposed To Your Natural Appearance? Why?

Not at all....it suits my physical looks magnificently! I am often told that I am one of the only people who could pull off some of the clothes and jewelry that I wear.....it definitely goes perfectly with my appearance! I look rather odd in normal clothes, I think :o)

14. Which Film Character's Costumes/Clothing Do You Covet? Why?

Oooooh, so many! I want all of Kate Winslets from Titanic {especially the black and red one she wear when at the back of the ship, and the breakfast gown of soft greens and yellows with all the vines and floral embroidery...*drool*, I want the peach gown that Meg wears in the newer Little Women when the girls dress her up, Padmes dress from the fields with the waterfalls in AotC, the frocks from The Mists of Avalon movie....infinitely more!!

15. What Kind Of Scent Do You Generally Wear? Why?

Usually strong floral scents like rose, lilac, gardenia....they really suit me, and I adore the feminine smells of them! Also, I like natural, earthy smells sometimes....

16. What One Article Of Clothing Would You Most Like To Have? Why?

All of the costumes I just listed above.....and any that I add to that list in the future.....*puppy~dog look*...please? :o)

17. Makeup Or Not? What Shades Do You Prefer?

I wear make~up, but only ever the same things. I wear translucent powder, dark rose~toned blush on my eyes, and a soft natural rose on my lips, mascara, thats it! Sometimes a darker vampy~red for special occasions, or stage make~up for theatre, but too much and I end up looking like a porcelain doll....and not in a good way ;o)! It takes me about 2 minutes to do my make~up in the morning, and I admit that I feel naked without it ;o)

18. What About Shoes? What Is Your Shoe Size And Favourite Style?

I wear a 8 1/2 or 9, and I love hippie sandals like birkenstocks for everyday, and I adore granny~style Victorian lace~up boots for special occasions :o). And, I'm dying to buy a pair of those *Renaissance Moccasins* for daily wear, as well as to faire, in the future.....

19. And Accessories? What Are Your Favourite Types Of Accessories? Why?

I *adore* neclaces.....usually large gaudy pendant style ones :o). I have several favourites, including my large antique coral cameo on a thick gold chain, a gorgeous moonstone pendant with great colours on a silver chain, a large 3 tiered austrian crystal bead neclace, a chain of large light~dusky~rose pearls, and a big pendant made from what used to be an antique costume~jewelry earring, which I got for a dollar, because it was unmatched :o). I also love scarves and hats, especially those tiny little hats made mostly of netting laces and beadwork.....I want one sooo badly, and haven't been able to find it!

20. Jewelry? What Stones, What Metals, What Types Of Jewelry Best Fit Your Personal Style?

I really love all jewels.....such pretty sparklies....except turquose! My favourites are Opal {milky white outside but glowing and shimmery with rainbow~fire inside!}, Aquamarine, Topaz, light~coloured Amethysts, Ruby, Pearl, Sapphire, and Austrian Crystal :o). I prefer siler~tone metals, but gold~tone os ok occasionally...I also like pewter and natural strings of hemp~type, and polished stones :o)

Aaah....a survey of pretty frothy frivolous~ness! Such fun......
