Welcome to the books! These are a few of my favorites for a lot of different reasons. To find these books, check in your local book store under "new age" or "occult" (although I look forward to the time that they will be under "religion"!!). If you cant find them there, there is always Amazon Books. They have almost every book ever printed, even some quite rare ones I havent found anywhere else. A few books aren't here that I plan to add very soon, but enjoy this for now. To see the description for each book, just hold your mouse over it for a second. **PS-I scanned all of the covers from books that I own, so you can use these pics for your pages or home or whatever you like...just give me a link if you use for a page. You can use the graphic at the bottom of the page to link if you want. Enjoy!

Celtic myth and magic by Edain McCoy is a book full of great meditations and deity descriptions of a Celtic nature. Mystical Rites fron the Crystal Well by Ed Fitch is often called the book that launched a thousand traditions because of its many useful and beautiful rituals. Dancing with Dragons by DJ Conways has geat lore as well as ways of contacting many kinds of dragons with proper caution of course! Dancing with the Sun is a wonderful book of Sabbat lore and ritual, beatifully written and well researched. Embracing the Moon by the same author is a book of lunar magicks and techniques. It is very useful. The Forest House by MZB is the prequel to The Mists of Avalon. It is fictitious, but they should all be required reading because of there relevance to the Goddess Tradition. The Golden Bough by Frazer is an anthropological study of magical and mythical practices of various cultures. Very informative if you can get the past the superior tone. Green Witchcraft by Ann Moura is a wonderful book for the begginer to the initiate. It will give you basic information as well as a new slant on your current practices. Green Witchcraft 2 by the same author is perhaps better than the first because it deals with the seldom discussed and neccessary dark side, and emphasizes balance between the two. The Jesus Mysteries by Freke is a look into the possible origins of the Jesus story. Wonderfully eye-opening and informative. Living Wicca is Scott Cunningham's second, and it focuses on advanced technique such as the nature of prayer, forming a tradition, and craft names. Another book before MofA by MZB, very entertaining and worthwhile. To Stir a Magick Cauldron by Ravenwolf is a very practical and well written book with basics on casting and the like. Mists of Avalon is disscussed at lenth on my cover page, so all Ill say here is: READ IT!! Perhaps the best book on the origins of Witchcraft, it contains no made up and false information, only historical origins, which is very refreshing. For more see the Origins page. Pagan Ways by O'Hara emphasizes the Pagan connection to nature and gives many suggestions and ideas. To Light a Sacred Flame by Ravenwolf is more in depth and gives needed information about group rituals such as Handfasting and the like. The Tao of Physics by Capra is an amazing book which helps to heal the age old conflict between religion and science. The White Goddess by Graves is, as it says, a historical grammar of poetic myth which disscusses the origins of many of the European Deities. Wicca by Scott Cunningham is probably one of the best introductions to the craft that there is. It is often quoted and well worth reading for all involved in the Craft.
